2010 Lunar Eclipse and First day of Winter!

Studies say that this hasn't happened for 400 years, so I thought maybe some of you guys that didn't get up at 3 a.m. would like to see the pictures :-)


P.S. I didn't take this picture, but I did get up at three and saw almost the same thing. I tried to take a picture of it but it was to small and it was at the end of the eclipse

4 new La Manchas

Well, how we got these goats is a long story. We met a gal not too long ago named Joanne, and she raised La Manchas. We found out she is moving to Nebraska, and is selling all of her goats. So we bought 4 goats from her and here are their names:

This is Sprite, she is 10 months old (a yearling) and very CUTE!

And this is Ohara's daughter, O2 or Ohara II
She is 1 1/2 years old

This is Indy,
she is 2 1/2 years old and she's the only one that was in milk

And this is our first grandma goat Ginger, she's 13 and had triplets at 12 years old!
WOW, what an AMAZING goat!

The Lord has blessed us greatly with a healthy and growing herd of 12 goats!

New Kitten!

We got a new kitten about 3 days ago.
She's a girl and my mom named her Reece's Pieces just because of the color of her coat.
She's an extremely nice kitten.

Buddy Walk!

We took Oreo our little doeling that we've been working to train on the lead for the past 3 months or so.
She was a little bratty here and there, but over all she was pretty good on the lead ;)

What the ranch has been up to??

I didn't decide to burn, but my dad just wanted to clear the fence
line. He did just a little more than that :)
But we had fun
