It's about time to post something new!
Well, we have an Alpine doe who was pregnant when we bought her and she was supposed to be due on June 11th. But God totally worked it out. Our friend who's been doing goats for about 7 years now decided to come over, well that's very rare especially on a Sunday. So her daughter was showing us how to properly trim hoofs, and Noisy (our Alpine doe) looked a little funny. So we did a few things around the ranch, and about an hour later she had about 8 inches of mucus coming out. So we put her in the kidding stall. Then about 10 minutes later two hoofs were showing, and the about 15 minutes later our friend (the professional goat person) had to pull it out because the kid's tongue was turning purple and you half to hurry up and get air into it's lungs. We finally got it out and it was a little Alpine doeling and she is SO CUTE. Praise the Lord!
Here are some pictures of her.
