On February 22, Cloudy our Saanan doe (who was bred to Ranger, our black and white Lamancha buck) went into labor. For about 30 minutes she was having hard contractions. Then two bubbles came out, which was both bucks trying to come out at once (pictured below). That made it pretty hard because the one on the bottom was making the one on the top harder to come out. The little guy was stuck there for a little bit, but we managed to get them both out without any problems. Praise God!
The first one was all black and doesn't look anything like the mom, that's for sure :)
We are selling the bucks for $25 each if you are interested

The second one has some white but still looks nothing close to the mom
On the same day, a few hours after Cloudy had her twins, Frosty, one of our Nubians (who was bred to Ranger), was also showing some signs of labor. We put her in the loafing shed thinking it might be soon. So about 30 minutes later we went back out to check on her, and there was a little blonde doeling laying on the ground half way dried off. Then out comes the second doeling! She was stuck a little bit, but came out fairly fast with some help from us.
The blonde doe went to a good home already. But the brown one is still
for sale. We are selling her for $50, if you are interested, give us a call at:
